Q: How many keys come with each lock ordered (I would need 3 each)?
A: We ship no less than 2 tenant keys per set. A "set" defined by Landlordlocks.com is; all locks keyed alike for one unit (i.e. House, Apartment, office). Additional keys are available at $2.00 each.

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: We started in 1998 with 3 cases of locks and an idea. We now receive a tractor-trailer load every 20 days or so.

Q: What are the lock change options?
A: You can either buy spares and ship back for re-keying when needed ($6.93 per cylinder plus postage), or you could buy several sets of spare cylinders and play "musical cylinders."

Q: Do you charge sales tax to VA residents?
A: Though we do not charge sales tax to VA residents, at this time, we are however required to charge sales tax to GA, IL, IN, KY, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, OH, OK, PA, & WI residents.

Q: How much are replacement tenant, master, etc. keys? Can I have them made locally?
A: We can reproduce a new original for any key in your system whenever needed. Tenant keys can be copied locally. Replacement original tenant keys are $2.00 each when shipped with a lock order. Master Control keys are $3.82 each and master keys are $2.52 each and may be difficult to obtain locally.

Q: How fast do you ship?
A: Depends on when your order... small orders received before noon, mid-month, Wednesday or Thursday usually go out the same day. Mid size orders (50-100 locks) or orders received on Monday, Tuesday or Friday orders usually ship in 24-72 hours. Large orders (101 + locks) may take up to 5 days to ship. Each lock is custom pinned to your master before shipment. Exception: A recent shipment of 1,824 locks took 6 days.

Q: I have over 50 units - can I order in lots of 4 locks that will be keyed to the same master each time I order?
A: Yes, you can order "sets" of locks for each unit and specify the number of entry knobs, single deadbolts, double deadbolts, rim cylinders, mortise cylinders and even padlocks to match a singe tenant key and your master key. All locks ordered on YOUR master key account will automatically be keyed to your master key. Also, we will not issue the same master key within the same geographic area. This is normally a 50 mile radius of your zip code.

Q: Is there any quantity discount?
A: Yes, customers that order over 500 locks per year qualify for a $1 per lock discount on all master keyed locks.

Q: Can I order cylinders only to make my current locks fit your system?
A: Only if you have the older Titan/UltraMax or the 6-pin Signature Series locks.
